DOOM 3
In DOOM 3, your character is a marine starting a tour of duty at
Union Aerospace Corporation's research facility on Mars. Soon after
your arrival, a demonic invasion overwhelms the base. Only you can
save Earth from the satanic forces of evil! So begins an epic battle
for survival against some of the most horrific, ill-mannered and
unsanitary opponents imaginable.
Bench testing this software
To bench test DOOM 3 on your PC, simply load the game and press
Ctrl-Alt-~ and then type com_showfps 1. A frames per scond
(fps) counter will appear in the top-right corner of your screen.
For minimum results at 1,024 by 768 resolution, you should get at
least 30fps.
